Are Cats Liquids?

Liquid definition one: “flowing freely but of constant volume”

Liquid definition two: “can change its shape, is not easily compressible”

Cats are of constant volume; We have a certain mass that we cannot change (without the help of kibble). We move freely – haven’t you ever seen your cat running around the house at 3am?

Liquid takes the shape of a container. So do cats. If you don’t believe me, check out these cats!

We can also lay very very flat. I’ve asked my assistant Onyx to demonstrate this for us.

So, we’ve established that cats are liquids, but is that all we are?

Liquids can’t move on their own, so cats must also be solids.

Like plasma, we’re very squishy. One time Mom accidentally poked my belly and her finger almost went all the way through to the other side! Cats are also plasmas.

Gasses are defined as, “substances that aren’t liquids or solids that expand freely to fill any space available.” As you can see above, we are both liquids and solids (which means we are neither), and we are able to fill available spaces. Cats are gasses.

So cats are liquids, solids, plasmas, and gasses. What do you call that??

A Cat.

Cats are undefinable because we are unique. We are much more than just scientific matter.
