Interviewing Mahe

Meow! It's Charlie. Today I will be interviewing another kitty from Instagram! If you want me to interview someone specific, leave a comment below!

Charlie: Meow! Hello everyone! Today I’m here with my good furriend Mahe!

Mahe: Hi Charlie, nice to spend this cute moment with you :)

Charlie: Nice to see you too! How do you like being a cat?

Mahe: Awww I think we have the best life in the world, not obliged to work, to go shopping, to go vote, we get food without having to pay for it, we get thousands of cuddles and kisses every week and we sleep all day long, between mischiefs. The dream!

Charlie: Haha, I totally agree! If you could be any animal in the world, what kind of animal would you want to be?

Mahe: I think a dolphin, I dream to love water and to be able to swim like them, they are very clever and they are very friendly with other dolphins and with humans.

Charlie: Oh I like that! I think you are the only kitty I’ve ever interviewed that said something other than a big cat! I think I would still want to be a house cat though, because I don’t want any responsibilities in case I get attacked by Monday again! Your full name is Mahe Labelleragdoll, correct? Can you tell me what the last name means?

Mahe: In fact my name, the most important is Mahe, comes from “Mahe de la Bourdonnais” who was a sailor, explorer, and governor of Mauritius and Reunion Islands in the Indian Ocean and mom looooves Mauritius Island. The friend who created my 1st account (Facebook) put “La Belle” and when mom created the IG account she put ragdoll again.

Charlie: That’s really interesting! My name is much simpler, Charlie Cat. Cat, because I am well, a cat. And Charlie is the name the pound gave me! So unoriginal mom! Do you live with other pets? If not what other pets would you want to live with (if any).

Mahe: Mom has always found that Mahe was a beautiful name, for a boy or a girl, then when I arrived it was for me. No I’m the only pet, sometimes I dream about a kitty brother or sister but mom and I are so attached I think I would be jealous.

Charlie: Aw, that’s sweet. As you probably know I have three siblings, but lots of other pets live around here. Trust me, kitty (or any) siblings are annoying! Who are your favorite cat celebrities?

Mahe: I don’t really know cat celebrities because I prefer “real cats” if you know what I mean. :) My star on IG is Neko my husband from (@neko_and_lili ). For me one of the most beautiful kitties on IG is @cicicatt . And I love Garfield the Movie.

Charlie: Yeah some kitties on Instagram are a little full of themselves. Can you tell us a little about you and Neko?

Mahe: Awww Neko is my big love I think we were the 1st couple of cats to get married. For me he is like my family and his sister Lili too. Our mom’s are friends, they will meet each other for the 2nd time in 2 weeks in Valencia.

Charlie: I think Cici looks a bit like you, but honestly I think you are much prettier. Oh that’s so cool they know each other in real life.

Mahe: Awww thank youuuu <3 <3 <3

Charlie: Do you have any funny stories to tell?

Mahe: Yes they met for the 1st time the day after the wedding and then in 2 weeks mom goes to Spain and they will go shopping together :) Omg with all my mischiefs it’s not easy XD well let me think 2 minutes.

Charlie: That’s pawsome! I wish my mama and Sakura’s mama could meet. Unfortunately I don’t think she lives in the US.

Mahe: Aww yes I know, the 1st day I was home mom calls a friend and tells her that I was a white kitten, while at the same time I ran in front of mommy and she saw that I was completely black on the right side. I just had played in the fireplace XD I stayed grey for 2 months. XD Awww yes we are very lucky to live both in Europe and mom loves to travel to Spain. Who knows the world is so small...

Charlie: Hahaha! Two months?? Merci de me laisser vous interviewer!*

Mahe: Yes 2 months…the bet thought it was my real color XD mom washed me but it didn’t work. Avec grand plaisir.* :) The pleasure is for me :) kisses <3

Mahe: ...That’s funny because the biggest radio channel in Belgium asked a few months ago to interview mommy about me, but it was direct live and mom had to refuse because she was busy at work, after she regretted it but it was too late.

Charlie: …That’s so cool! Why did they want to interview your mom?

Mahe: They made a segment about the success of cats and dogs on Instagram and they had seen mine.
